The Hand Bell Club
The Hand Bell Club, open to pupils in Years 3-6, meets weekly at lunchtime, with both handling and musical skills gained, enabling ‘change’ and tune ringing to flourish. Performances throughout the year, include those linked to the school’s Harvest, Christmas and Easter services, plus summer concerts; the group has previously performed in a charity fund-raising concert.
Art Club runs each Monday in a fun and relaxed atmosphere where children are encouraged to freely express themselves through a variety of media such as clay, water colour, print, collage, weaving, deco patch and much more. We look at a range of artists and movements for inspiration and experiment with styles and approaches to broaden children’s interests in art, design and photography. We discuss art and artists as we work and children freely comment on their thoughts and feelings about what they see and produce.
Key Stage One Art Club
Key Stage One Art Club meet on Friday lunchtimes. We are led by the children’s interests and ideas and have covered many aspects of art from pottery, painting and paper mache ,to sewing and model making. This is done in a fun and relaxed atmosphere where the children can experiment with new techniques and skills.
