Lucy Staveley lives in Fulbrook with her family and her two sons attend Burford Primary School. Lucy has been a parent governor since September 2013. Lucy has a BSc in Biology and a Masters degree in Public Health, and before starting a family she worked overseas for Oxfam and the UN, managing public health programmes in emergencies.
Lucy is a trained Forest School leader and has helped set up the Forest School for the primary school. As a Governor, she is the Chair of the Learning and Teaching Committee and the Class Link Governor for Priory Class and is also the Subject Link Governor for Mathematics. Linking with the School Development Plan, she has led on the Outdoor Learning project, and together with another associate governor she runs the after school nature club.
