All of our Year 3 children and half of our Year 2 children are taught in Tolsey Class in our Lower School (Windrush and Tolsey Class).
Lower School have access to a full class set of Chrome Books as well as a number of iPads. They have the same break and lunchtimes and will also all go on the same trips. These are planned on a 3 year cycle so that whichever route your child takes through Lower School, they will always be offered the same educational experiences.
If you would like more information on how we split our Year 2 children between Windrush and Tolsey Class, please watch this explanation video.

Parent information for this term:
In the Magnificent Monarchs project, your child will learn about English and British monarchs from AD 871 to the present day and consider how the power of the monarchy has changed over time. They will study six significant sovereigns; Alfred the Great, William the Conqueror, Henry VIII, Elizabeth I, Queen Victoria and the current monarch, Elizabeth II. Finally, they will choose which of the sovereigns that they have studied is the most significant.
Parents are encouraged to spend time looking through the knowledge organiser prior to beginning the topic, which can be found here.
