What is the PE & Sport Premium?
The primary PE and sport premium was introduced in March 2013 to improve the provision of physical education and school sport in primary schools across England. The funding is provided by the Government and is allocated directly to primary schools and is ring-fenced. This means it may only be spent on improving the provision of PE and sport in schools.
What we do with the PE & Sport Premium Allocation
At Burford Primary School, knowing the importance of PE & Sport to the health and well-being of our children, we take the provision of the subject very seriously, We actively encourage our children to take part in competitive sport and fully participate in all of the partnership sports fixtures.
